1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Paretix Academy, operated by PARETIX Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), headquartered at 31 Yavne Street, Tel-Aviv, Israel. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Paretix Academy professional AI training program ("the Platform"). By accessing the Platform, registering for a course, or submitting contact information to inquire about enrollment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. ---
2. Purpose of the Platform
Paretix Academy provides professional training programs in applied artificial intelligence designed for finance and business analysts, managers, and organizations seeking to upskill their teams. The Platform offers live and on-demand instruction, practical assignments, and hands-on workshops across six core modules covering prompt engineering, data analysis, automation, AI-assisted coding, AI agents, and data-driven storytelling. Upon successful course completion, participants receive a certificate of completion acknowledging attendance and satisfactory performance. The Certificate represents completion of the program and does not constitute an academic degree, professional license, or regulated qualification. ---
3. Student Code of Conduct
By enrolling in Paretix Academy, you commit to: - **Professional behavior** — Treat instructors and fellow participants with respect in all interactions. - **Intellectual honesty** — Represent your own understanding and work honestly. Do not plagiarize or misrepresent others' work as your own. - **Respectful communication** — Maintain a professional tone in chat, Q&A, and group discussions. - **Confidentiality of materials** — Do not publicly share or distribute course materials, recordings, or instructor content without explicit written permission from PARETIX Ltd. - **Compliance with course rules** — Follow any additional guidelines or code of conduct communicated by your instructor. Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in suspension from the course and forfeiture of any certificates or credits earned. PARETIX reserves the right to remove participants who violate these standards. ---
4. Course Attendance and Participation
4.1 Time Commitment
The Paretix Academy program requires a commitment of 28 hours of instruction delivered over 7 live sessions (typically twice per week, 4 hours per session). Participants are expected to: - Attend live sessions or watch recorded sessions within a reasonable timeframe. - Complete assigned readings, exercises, and projects. - Participate actively in Q&A and group discussions. - Submit assignments according to published deadlines.
4.2 Session Access and Recordings
- Live sessions are conducted via Zoom or similar platform. - Sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled participants for up to 30 days after the course concludes. - You may not record sessions yourself or distribute recordings without written permission. - Access to session recordings expires upon course completion or as specified in the course terms.
4.3 Completion Requirements
A certificate of completion is issued upon: - Attending or watching recordings of at least 80% of sessions. - Submitting all required assignments and projects. - Achieving satisfactory performance as determined by instructors. Participants who do not meet these requirements may audit the course without receiving a certificate or may retake the course. ---
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Course Materials
All content on the Platform — including lesson slides, video lectures, written materials, exercises, code samples, instructor prompts, and branding — is the exclusive property of PARETIX Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, translate, or create derivative works from any course materials without our prior written consent. Limited personal use for learning purposes is permitted.
5.2 Student Work
Assignments, code you write, projects, and other work you submit during the course remain your intellectual property. You grant PARETIX Ltd. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to: - Use your work for grading and feedback purposes. - Use anonymized versions of your work as teaching examples with your consent. - Archive your work for compliance and records purposes. You may request that your work not be used as teaching examples.
5.3 Certificate
Your certificate of completion is issued by PARETIX Ltd. and may be displayed on your CV, LinkedIn, and professional profiles, provided that: - You do not misrepresent the certificate as a government-issued license, academic degree, or regulated qualification. - You do not alter the certificate or claim credentials you did not earn. ---
6. Payment and Refunds
6.1 Course Fees
Course enrollment fees are stated at the time of registration. All fees are non-refundable once the course has begun, except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in a separate agreement.
6.2 Corporate Enrollments
Organizations enrolling multiple participants may negotiate volume pricing or payment terms through a separate corporate agreement with PARETIX Ltd. ---
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PARETIX Ltd. provides the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accessible at all times. PARETIX Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on a certificate of completion, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, failure to obtain a position, or reputational harm. ---
8. Corporate Enrollments
If you were enrolled in the Platform by your employer or a Paretix Academy corporate client, your participation is also subject to any agreement between PARETIX and that organization. However, your individual assessment results, assignment submissions, and course transcript remain private and confidential. Corporate clients receive only aggregate cohort-level data (completion rates, average performance) unless you provide explicit separate written consent to share individual data. 9. Course Modifications
PARETIX Ltd. reserves the right to: - Modify course content, schedule, or format at any time. - Cancel, postpone, or reschedule individual sessions or entire courses with reasonable notice. - Change instructors or delivery methods. - Update course materials and learning objectives. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants by email. If a course is canceled before it begins, participants will receive a full refund. ---
10. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. ---
11. Termination of Access
PARETIX Ltd. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if: - You violate these Terms or the Student Code of Conduct. - You engage in disruptive, harassing, or illegal behavior. - You violate our intellectual property or confidentiality policies. - Your payment is overdue or rejected. Termination may result in forfeiture of course credit or certificates. ---
12. Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo. ---
